  • The new interface lets you easily search for and view existing movement requests, saving time and effort.
  • The update also allows you to close or cancel movement requests directly in the Redwood UI, giving you better control over the process.
  • Viewing requisition lines in a table format makes it easier to manage and organize large requisitions with up to 500 lines in the procurement module.
  • The table format provides a clear and structured view of requisition details, reducing the chances of oversight or errors.

Details of the Oracle SCM Cloud 25A Release Notes: What’s New

Inventory Management
  • You can now create and update requisition movement requests using Redwood.
  • You can search and view or even duplicate, close or cancel movement requests using the new Redwood UI.
  • You have now the ability to review consumption advice using a Redwood page.
  • The new Review Consumption Advice page allows you to search, review, and print consumption advice using various attributes.
  • You can now review and approve these adjustments using a Redwood page.
  • You can now access your consigned transactions using the Redwood Consigned Inventory page.
Procurement
  • You can now send workflow notifications in a Redwood style and format for procurement documents and transactions.
  • This update brings a consistent and fresh look to both email and work list notifications, providing a seamless Redwood user experience.
  • You can now view the requisition lines in a table format in the shopping cart to more effectively manage requisitions containing up to 500 lines in the Responsive Self Service Procurement application. Additionally, this feature includes a new shopping cart experience to search and filter lines.
  • Now by using Redwood you can manage purchase orders, filter those using keywords, and perform actions like resolving match holds, communicating, canceling, closing, or reopening them. They can also create and edit purchase orders.
Maintenance
  • The update enables dynamic adjustments to future due dates by factoring in scheduled and actual completion dates. It ensures proactive updates to maintain forecast accuracy, while delays prompt the system to wait for the last open work order's completion.
  • The My Maintenance Work page supports resource assignments but can be time-intensive for large organizations. A scheduled process and Maintenance Supervision workbench streamline scheduling and manage exceptions.
  • Users can now complete operations only if assigned, requiring a resource definition for each. Reassignment or self-assignment is possible, but operations must be completed sequentially.
Order Management
  • You can specify a pricing date on the order header to ensure accurate pricing based on the date you choose.
  • You can now return a sales order even if the lot or the lot and serial numbers are not in the correct sequence.
  • After confirming a shipment, you can now record the actual delivery date. This date updates the sales order fulfillment line for accurate invoicing. Two new fields have been added: Actual Delivery Date (to capture when the shipment was delivered) and Delivery Recipient (to record who received it).
Manufacturing
  • You can now use AI agents to quickly look up answers from previously uploaded documents in Oracle Fusion Cloud Manufacturing.
  • You can use Oracle Business Intelligence Cloud Connector (BICC) to extract and analyze real-time transactional data for work order operations at workstations.
Technical Updates
  • You can now send B2B messages to your trading partners directly using a REST resource. A new delivery method type, REST Web Service, is available for use with trading partners and service providers.
  • Oracle Fusion Cloud Procurement and Oracle Fusion Cloud Self Service Procurement now feature new and updated REST resources to streamline integration with external systems.
