What's New in the Oracle 23D Release?

  1. Oracle Cloud 23D Updates in the Human Capital Management Module

    • The Oracle Cloud 23D release brings several enhancements, including the ability to audit mass document downloads, add non-workers as line managers, introduce position budgeting, group similar jobs for scheduling, and enhance job searches with new filters.
    • Additionally, users can now select LOV values more easily, access Fusion Analytics insights, prevent junk email notifications, and prepare for the discontinuation of Share Personal Info support in the 24B update.
    • HCM for the US includes improvements to the "Manage Locations" task, while global payroll interfaces offer more flexibility for integrating absence records with third-party vendors. The Redwood experience includes new pages and enhancements for document records, employment contracts, transactions, and workforce structure management.
  2. Oracle Cloud 23D Updates in the Financials Module

    • In Common Financials, performance improvements are introduced for AP and AR Reconciliation, and rounding conversion options are enabled for transaction tax amounts.
    • In Budgetary Control, the ability to disable budgetary control for all journal sources is added. In Payables, automation features streamline invoice creation and payment processing, while new acknowledgment processes are introduced for ISO 20022 standards.
    • Expenses now support centrally-billed travel cards, and J.P. Morgan corporate card holders benefit from touchless expense submission and real-time expense creation.
    • Finally, General Ledger allows administrators to exclude Auto Accounting Journal Entries, and Fixed Assets enforces capitalization thresholds and introduces user roles for asset transactions in Oracle Cloud 23D.
  3. Oracle Cloud 23D Updates in the Supply Chain Management Module

    • Financial flows can now be identified based on transaction dates for intercompany shipments. Procurement introduces vacation rules, enhances purchase order management, and adds features for supplier communication and attachment handling.
    • Inventory Management allows better tracking of lot-controlled goods and improved handling of transfer orders. Cost Management includes a more robust cost rollup process and enhanced inventory counting. Manufacturing gains flexibility in work center calendars, material picking, and data security policies.
    • Order Management introduces order header holds, subscription integration, and enhanced note capturing.
  4. Oracle Cloud 23D Updates in the Project Financial Management Module

    • In Project Management Common, Apple Mac devices now support Microsoft Excel for file-based data import spreadsheets (FBDI). In Billing & Revenue Management, you can attach additional documents when sending contracts via email and check approval progress directly from contract search results.
    • Project managers can access invoice details by drilling down on the invoice number.
