Oracle’s 22D quarterly update is here, with new features and enhancements for Oracle users. Oracle Cloud 22D updates in the Financials module
Payables: New Features
- With the Oracle Cloud Financials 22D update an employee can now create a bank account by searching a bank by routing number (in US) and sort code (in UK) from a dropdown menu without knowing the bank and branch name.
Receivables
- User interface enhancements done to improve negative invoices management and transaction completion.
General Ledger
- With the new Oracle Cloud 22D release the following General Ledger processes can now be run in parallel: AutoPost Journals, Manual Posting of Journals, and AutoReverse Journals. At the same time, users can also run many instances of the AutoPost Journals process.

Oracle Cloud 22D Updates in the Procurement/SCM Module
Purchasing
- The Oracle Cloud 22D release has enabled automatic validation of matched invoices to release holds upon change order implementation. Due to this, manual validation won't be necessary to release invoice holds if the purchase order change removes the hold condition.
Supplier Model
- Checks such as company name, D-U-N-S number, taxpayer ID, and tax registration number of the registering company included to prevent duplicate registration of suppliers.
Sourcing
- Oracle Cloud 22D update allows users to initiate an approval by default when they're creating purchasing documents from the negotiation award.
- They can route the negotiation or award documents to the right approver based on whether it’s an amendment or a new round.
Additional features were added to: Sourcing, Supplier Qualification Management, Procurement Contracts, and the Supplier Channel Management modules.

Oracle Cloud 22D Updates in the HCM Module
Talent Management
- The Oracle Cloud 22D update has introduced Oracle touchpoints introduced to create meaningful interactions between employees and managers.
- Certain feature options have been renamed for the HR assigned development goal notifications.
Absence Management
- Planned start date and end date can now be defaulted in Childbirth and Placement Dates through Autocomplete Rules.
Time and Labor
- Time cards have been integrated with delete assignment process in Global HR with the Oracle Cloud 22D release.
- Generate Time Cards task can now be directly accessed from the Tasks panel tab of the Time Management work area or using the new quick action.
Additional features and functionalities were added to: Global HR, HCM Common Architecture, Talent Management, Global Payroll, Recruiting, and Benefits.
